The award was presented to graduating senior Anna Sconyers during the College of Undergraduate Studies Commencement ceremony, where the University community gathered to celebrate its 2025 graduates.

The Cougars secured a tie for second place with a team score of 887 (291-296-300), marking one of the program's strongest showings in recent years.

The Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University has launched its “Last Lecture Series,” inviting CCU professors to share their wisdom with the next generation and inspire them to pursue faith and truth with new insight. Inspired by the story of former Carnegie Mellon professor Randy Pausch who, after receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, presented a final lecture of lessons he had always wanted to share with his students, Centennial Institute posed the question: “If this was your last chance to address your students, how would you summarize your accumulated wisdom into a concise summation?”
